1. Take a firm decision to become a student of MSPU.

2. Make a request to the Department of International Relations for details of admission. By phone: + 7 495 246 01 23 or e-mail: ums_mail@mpgu.umos.ru

3. Fill in the visa application; The application is available HERE.

4. Turn in (personally/by e-mail/by post) filled application in Russia language and a copy of your passport to the Department of International Relations and complete a written request to take entry exams.

5. Department of Visa and Passport Support will send you an invitation and you have to apply for the visa at one of the Russian consulates at the country of your residence.

6. Arrive at MSPU to take entry interview and supply all necessary documents (see paragraph “Documents”).

7. Take entry exams: -- Test of Russian language at the Department of Russian as a foreign language; -- take an interview with our faculty member on the course chosen.

8. Sign an agreement for education services provision (except governmental exchange students) and purchase a medical insurance.

Your invitation:

In order to receive an invitation to enter Russia you have to send as (by e-mail, fax or post) a copy of your passport and completed visa application in the Russian language. Your invitation will be issued by the State Department for Invitation Support based in Moscow. The cost of invitation depends upon the duration of your stay in Russia.

For successful admission to regular courses the following documents have to be submitted:

Certificate of attendance of the Russian language courses;
Civil passport (original);
Certificate or diploma of education (original) and its supplement;
Translation of certificate or diploma of education into Russian language with notary verification in your country of in Russia Embassy;
Certificate of equivalence of diploma of education issued by Russian Federal Agency for Supervision in the sphere or education and science;
Personal application from prospective student to Rector of MSPU;
If you plan to study at MSPU under interstate exchange program a letter from Russian Federal Agency of Education has to be submitted;
Certificate of health verified by state medical establishment of the country of your permanent residence;
Certificate of AIDS absence verified by official medical establishment of the country your permanent residence;
12 black and white mat photographs 3*4 cm.

* We turn your attention that diploma of education submitted to MSPU should be legalized according to state regulations (information about the process of legalization is available at the Russian Embassy in the country of your permanent residence. Diplomas of education issued by CIS educational establishments do not need to be legalized.

Russian as a foreign language courses – 75000 Russian rubles per academic year;
Bachelor and Master programs – from 60000 to 135000 Russian rubles per academic year; CIS residents – from 45000 to 135000 Russian rubles per academic year;
PhD programs – from 90000 to 120000 Russian rubles per academic year; CIS residents – from 45000 to 60000 Russian rubles per year.

Accommodation at the university’s hostels from 2500 to 7000 Russian rubles per months (depending on the type of accommodation).

We will be glad to arrange car transportation to and from airports or railway stations at the cost of 3000 Russian rubles.

International students must purchase medical insurance at 6300 Russian rubles per year.
