Faculties and educational programmes.
Foreign citizens study with Russian students and have got an opportunity to get higher education according to the main educational programmes of three levels:
- Specialist (Sp.) – 5 years (full-time); 6 years (by correspondence); this is a traditional Russian qualification which is realized throughout all the faculties.
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) – 4 years (full-time); 5 years (by correspondence)
- Master of Arts (MA) – 2 years (full time).
Most faculties provide receiving of Bachelor and Master Degrees.
Post graduate education is realized according to two levels:
- Candidate of Science (PhD) – 3 years (full-time); 4 years (by correspondence);
- Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) – 2 years (special requirements).
A foreign citizen can also have an internship studies during the period of 2 weeks to 1 year.
